• PDC system is composed of; programs written in Cobol and Cobol2, MVS JCL JES2v5.2, IMS online and batch message processing of data, VSAM and sequential file processing, Easytrieve, PL1, and Assembler languages.
• Current projects include: Year 2000 readiness testing and Cobol2 conversion.
• Year 2000 activities include; develop software design for Y2K modifications, test JCL syncsort utility and add alternate sequence parameters to ensure proper sorting of Y2K dates. Develop database programs for Y2K readiness data aging. Responsible for readiness testing the daily batch releases.
